Always do a closing after your practice, even after a short one.
Try to do qigong practice at the same time and the same place everyday.
Keep an open mind during your qigong practice and welcome all possible sensations by just letting them come and go.
Take a few minutes to calm down, relax and deepen your breathing before your practice.
Remove any metal belt, necklace, bracelet or magnets that may form a magnetic field to block the qi flow before the qigong meditation.
Find a safe environment in which to practice the Standing Meditation for Magnification form, for example, not at the lakeside, riverside, or at any place where a sudden body movement may startle you or threaten your safety.
Practise abdominal (natural) breathing and “light up the furnace” independent of the regular qigong meditation to enhance the quality of your qigong practice.
Practise with a partner or in a group, if possible, for inspiration and an enhanced qi field.
Practise this system daily for at least 30 days to experience the benefit; and then 90 days to make it a habit and lifestyle change for the good of your health and well being.
